CLINICAL PATHWAYS

Bespoke Denture & Prosthetic Pathways.

Whether you require a fast denture replacement or advanced implant-supported prosthetics, select the clinical framework engineered for your exact functional, structural, and lifestyle requirements.

LABORATORY ENGINEERING

Sub-Micron Precision via 5-Axis Digital Milling.

While conventional clinics rely on manual, variable stone models and outsourced third-party labs, we control the entire manufacturing architecture from our specialized Auckland facilities.

By executing a completely digital CAD/CAM workflow, your unique intraoral anatomy is translated into automated toolpath data. Our in-house, industrial-grade 5-axis milling systems sculpt your prosthetic from a single, solid monolithic block of premium cross-linked polymer.

The result is a monolithic restoration with zero material warp, unmatched structural integrity, and an absolute margin fit calibrated to the microscopic millimeter.

PATIENT OUTCOMES

The Artisanal Finish: Where Engineering Meets Biology.

A 5-axis mill provides a mathematically flawless foundation, but true discretion requires an uncompromising human eye. Every Confidentures prosthetic is meticulously hand-tinted, stippled, and phonetically calibrated to defy the artificial aesthetic.

Acoustic & Structural Stability

“I could not afford to carry a lisp into board meetings, nor could I rely on adhesives. The ultra-thin milled palate completely restored my speech clarity, and the vacuum suction is absolute. The engineering is flawless.”

Undetectable Discretion

“I was terrified of losing my facial volume and looking twenty years older. The custom lip support physically restored my facial structure, and the hand-tinted gums look so biological that my own family forgets I wear a prosthetic. Zero judgment, absolute perfection.”

– Sarah T. (Confi-Ultimate Pathway)

Digital Dentures & Prosthetics FAQ.

Answers regarding bio-digital engineering, aesthetic characterization, and advanced masticatory mechanics.

Artificial appearances and facial collapse are entirely bypassed through the Swiss Denture Concept and advanced digital contouring. Traditional prosthetics often fail to support the orbicularis oris muscle, leading to a sunken upper lip.

Confidentures digitally engineers the labial flange to physically restore youthful facial volume. Aesthetically, the uniform “Chiclet” look is eliminated by utilizing Ivoclar Phonares II nanohybrid composite teeth, which feature natural dentin-to-enamel translucency.

The acrylic foundation is then meticulously hand-tinted and stippled by the clinician to perfectly mirror biological gingival tissue, ensuring absolute discretion.

Lower stabilization is achieved through the advanced SEMCD (Suction Effective Mandibular Complete Denture) protocol.

Historically, lower dentures “float” due to the movement of the tongue and cheeks. The SEMCD technique captures the dynamic, active movements of the oral musculature during the impression phase.

This data is used to engineer a prosthetic that harmonizes with the neutral zone, creating a true, physical vacuum seal against the lower ridge. This provides implant-like stability, allowing for confident speaking and eating without the reliance on chemical adhesives.

Yes. Speech impediments, such as lisping or whistling on fricative sounds (“S” and “F”), are typically caused by a bulky, manually processed acrylic palate that restricts tongue space.

By utilizing 5-axis digital milling, the palatal architecture is carved from a solid block of cross-linked PMMA. This allows the palate to be engineered to an ultra-thin, highly durable specification (often 1.5mm).

Furthermore, custom anatomical rugae (the natural ridges on the roof of the mouth) are digitally milled into the surface, providing the tongue with the exact tactile feedback required for flawless acoustic clarity.

Masticatory stability is achieved through a mathematical bite setup known as Lingualized Occlusion. In standard prosthetics, chewing tough or fibrous foods causes lateral (sideways) displacement, which breaks the suction seal.

Lingualised Occlusion utilizes sharp maxillary palatal cusps acting against shallower mandibular anatomy. This specific engineering directs all chewing forces vertically, straight down into the foundational ridge. By eliminating lateral rocking, the prosthetic remains entirely stable under high bite forces.

While 3D printing is highly effective for temporary transitional devices, 5-axis milled PMMA (Polymethyl Methacrylate) remains the absolute gold standard for final restorations.

3D-printed resins can exhibit micro-porosity, making them susceptible to absorbing odors, staining, and becoming brittle over time. Conversely, Confidentures utilizes the Roland dental milling machine to mill prosthetics from solid, industrially cross-linked PMMA pucks.

This material is exceptionally dense, entirely non-porous, and features significantly higher flexural strength, ensuring a pristine, fracture-resistant restoration that will not degrade.

Chronic ulcers are almost exclusively caused by processing shrinkage. Traditional heat-cured acrylics shrink by up to 8% as they cool, warping the fit and creating microscopic high spots that cause friction against friable tissue.

The digital milling workflow eliminates this variable entirely. Because the prosthetic is carved from a pre-cured, solid block of material, there is 0% processing shrinkage. The resulting intaglio (tissue-facing) surface is an exact 1:1 microscopic replica of the clinical impression, ensuring perfectly even pressure distribution and a friction-free fit.
